Short story: This unusual cabaret was located at the foot of the Montmartre hill, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, the Cabaret de l'Enfer was a themed cabaret that occasionally hosted singers. It first opened its doors in 1892 at number 34 Boulevard de Clichy.
Then it was taken over by the illusionist Dorville, and his administrator, Roger, who opened a "macabre cabaret", the Cabaret du Néant which specialized in particularly sinister "evocations from beyond the grave",
